NTDP Announces First Eight Commits for 2014-15 Season
Forwards Joey Anderson (Roseville, Minn.), Trent Frederic (St. Louis, Mo.), Max Jones (Rochester, Mich.), Patrick Khodorenko (Walnut Creek, Calif.) and Nick Pastujov (Bradenton, Fla.), along with defensemen Chad Krys (Ridgefield, Conn.), Griffin Luce (Williamsville, N.Y.) and Luke Martin (St. Louis, Mo.). will join USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program for the 2014-15 season it was announced today. The players, all from the 1998 birth year, will compete as members of the U.S. National Under-17 Team.
Berger Scores Twice as Storm Top Force
The Tri-City Storm (20-33-3) got two goals from Chase Berger and defeated the Fargo Force (12-39-6) 4-1 at Scheels Arena on Friday night.
Storm netminder Hayden Lavigne made 38 saves in the win, while Jake Wahlin and Ryan McMurphy also scored goals for Tri-City.
2014 NTDP Evaluation Camp Roster Announced
Fifty-two of the top American hockey players born in 1998 have been invited to USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program Evaluation Camp it was announced today by team officials. The camp, which will help select the 2014-15 U.S. National Under-17 Team, will take place March 21-25, at the Ann Arbor (Mich.) Ice Cube.
McGlynn Tenders With Springfield in the NAHL
It’s been a good week for St. Louis Jr. Blues forward Andy McGlynn. The 1997 birth-year player was named to the NA3HL Central Division Top Prospects team over the weekend and capped it off with a tender offer from the Springfield Jr. Blues of the NAHL.
