The Peoria Rivermen got 23 saves from Tyler Parks and three goals in the final two periods to beat the Evansville Thunderbolts 3-0 at the Ford Center on Friday night. The win, Peoria’s first since December 2 at Columbus, comes before the Rivermen and Thunderbolts conclude their home-and-home series Saturday night in Peoria.

Lange’s winner ends FireAntz skid with 3-2 victory over Cottonmouths

Rivermen sign defenseman and goaltender

Moss, 25, won 16 games with Augusta last season and was one of the top goaltenders in the league, posting a 2.93 goals-against and .913 saves rate.

The Chesterfield, Mo., native played four seasons at St. Lawrence University, and the Rivermen made him the No. 1 pick overall in the SPHL Dispersal Draft earlier this summer.
