Less than two months after Mike Hastings was named Minnesota State’s new men’s hockey coach, he got his first commitment from a recruit.

Dominic Zombo scored his first two goals of the season and added three assists in the Mavericks’ sweep of #20 Minnesota Duluth last weekend. Zombo had a pair of helpers on Friday including the primary assist on Michael Young’s game-winning goal in Saturday’s 3-2 win.
