Farmer Named to U-17 Five Nations Select Team

Incoming defenseman Ty Farmer, and Phantoms affiliate list player Luke McInnis have been named to the U.S. Under-17 Select Team that will participate in the 2014 Under-17 Five Nations Tournament, slated for August 13-17 in Crimmitschau, Germany. The Select Team is made up of 20 players who participated in the USA Hockey Boys’ Select 16 Player Development Camp from July 7-16.

Farmer, 16, is a native of O’Fallon, Missouri. He skated last season for the St. Louis AAA Blues U16, where he recorded 12 points (two goals, 10 assists) over 31 games in the Tier 1 League regular season.

2014 NTDP Evaluation Camp Roster Announced

Fifty-two of the top American hockey players born in 1998 have been invited to USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program Evaluation Camp it was announced today by team officials. The camp, which will help select the 2014-15 U.S. National Under-17 Team, will take place March 21-25, at the Ann Arbor (Mich.) Ice Cube.
