Paul Stastny’s contract is up after this season, when he could become an unrestricted free agent. Stastny has had a very successful career in the NHL thus far for the Colorado Avalanche.
The 2013 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Hockey World Championship concluded over the weekend in Finland and Sweden, and the United States took home the Bronze medal following a 3-2 win over Finland on Sunday. The success of the U.S. at the tournament was due in large part to a number of USHL alumni that decorated the roster.
