Of the 25 players, 12 have previously represented the U.S. in the Olympic Winter Games, including three-time Olympian Julie Chu (Fairfield, Conn.). Members of the team range in age from 16-31, with Jincy Dunne (O’Fallon, Mo.) the youngest player and Chu the oldest. In total, the rostered players have represented the U.S. in 1,384 games in international competitions between 1999 and 2013.

Jincy Dunne of O’Fallon, Mo., was a nervous wreck on Monday morning as she waited to hear if she was going to make the 25-player U.S. women’s national hockey team.
“Before I found out, I thought I was going to throw up,” she confessed.
Earlier this month, 15-year-old Jincy Dunne took a spill while playing with the boys high school team at Westminster Christian Academy in St. Louis. While cutting across the ice in a game, she collided with another player and sustained a concussion, forcing her off the ice.
