Jeff LoVecchio, a native of Chesterfield, Missouri, has played hockey all over the world. Growing up playing in Missouri, to where he is now, playing professionally in Austria, he has experienced hockey in many different leagues in many different countries.
LoVecchio has visited a number of clubs and received in 2008 a contract with the NHL team Boston Bruins. He was, however, never any breakthrough.
The 27-year-old American comes to the club after a strong season in Alleghe in the Italian top flight where he was a teammate of former LIK player Gino Guyer. In Alleghe, he was a key player and one of the best on our team. “Gino has also told great things about Jeff,” said sporting director Tor Nilsen.
The President dell’Alleghe tile Canadian Hockey Renato Rossi is pleased to announce the engagement of the attacker coming from the U.S. Jeff Lovecchio Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL. Lovecchio, born in 1985, was born in Chesterfield, Missouri, the left stick, 188 cm for 88 kg, can play both center and wing, and began his career in the River City Lancers of the USHL in 2002.
The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced that the team has extended qualifying offers to the following eight players: Mikael Bedard, Dave Cowan, Casey Haines, Colten Hayes, Jeff LoVecchio, Justin Milo, Mike Montgomery, and Denny Urban.
