First Wenatchee Wild winger Jacob Barber (Dardenne Prairie, Mo.) helped assure that there would be a Game 5 in his team’s NAHL West Division semifinal series against the Fresno Monsters with a 2-goal effort Thursday in the fourth game of the series. Then he dominated Game 5 of the series Sunday with a hat trick that led the Wild to a 4-1 win over the Monsters and earned them a spot in the West Division finals.

The Wenatchee Wild reacquired Jacob Barber , the high-energy, high-scoring forward who was a catalyst on last season’s team that contended for a West Division championship. The Wild also acquired defenseman Tyler Rostenkowski and the rights to forward Alec Shields.
