The seven players to whom the Eagles issued qualifying offers include one goalie (Adam Brown), five forwards (Chad Costello, Jack Combs, Devin DiDiomete, Brock Nixon and Greg Gardner) and one defenseman (Collin Bowman). DiDiomete is the only veteran among the group.
The Colorado Eagles announced today that forward Jack Combs has re-signed with the club.
The Eagles are the ECHL affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League and the St. John’s IceCaps of the American Hockey League.
Jack Combs has been showing high-caliber talent in the American Hockey League for almost six weeks now. Chad Costello, currently playing on the same Worcester team as Combs, has had a couple of stints in the higher league. And no one can forget Jon Landry, who has been on call-up the better part of three weeks with another club.
