The Big Ten announced Monday that Wisconsin junior forward Aidan Cavallini and senior defenseman Eddie Wittchow were suspended for respective hits in Saturday’s 9-2 loss to Minnesota.

“Aidan plays with great energy and passion,” Eaves said of the 5-foot-11, 205-pounder, “but you’ll notice that, even though he plays with passion, he understands the game as well. He understands how it goes together and that’s a nice combination to have. We look for him to come in, work his way into the lineup and become an energy guy for us.”
Badgers Receive Commitment from NAHL Forward Aidan Cavallini
Cavallini is referred to as what some in the business call a “suitcase.” The 1992-born forward played two years of bantams in Chicago, two years of midgets in St. Louis and two years of high school at Taft Prep in Connecticut.
