The Anaheim Ducks, NHL parent club of the Norfolk Admirals, today announced the schedule and roster for their training camp, which opens today at 11:15 a.m. PST at Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Seven members of the 2012-13 Norfolk Admirals will take part in the training camp.

Sound Tigers Sign Costello and Combs
The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today they have signed forwards Chad Costello and Jack Combs to professional tryout contracts (PTOs).
Combs, 24, has also appeared in 27 games with the Colorado Eagles this season. The St. Louis, MO native currently leads the ECHL with 19 goals, ranks second in the ECHL behind Costello with 42 points and ranks third in the league with 23 assists. Combs recorded 37 points in 23 games with Colorado last season, but spent the majority of the 2011-12 campaign with the AHL’s Worcester Sharks, notching 30 points (16 goals, 14 assists) in 50 games.

Ben Bishop put on a spectacular 46-save performance in goal as the Binghamton Senators held on to beat the Toronto Marlies 3-2 in American Hockey League play Thursday.
Shane Prince, Jakob Silfverberg and Patrick Wiercioch each scored for the Senators (8-4-2), who won their fourth straight game.
Defenseman Chris Wideman Re-Assigned to Binghamton
The Binghamton Senators announced today that defenseman Chris Wideman has been reassigned by the club’s National Hockey League affiliate Ottawa Senators to Binghamton from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.
