Chill Earns First Franchise Win in Shootout
St. Charles, Mo. – The St. Charles Chill notched their first win in franchise history with a 6-5 shootout win over the Quad City Mallards on Sunday night.
Despite being out-shot 47-28 for the game, and giving up two two-goal leads, the Chill cashed in on their opportunities and got some timely saves from St. Louis native Robby Moss in his first start that propelled head coach Jamie Rivers to his first win behind the bench.
Chill Falls to Allen 6-4
St. Charles, Mo. – The St. Charles Chill, a proud affiliate of the St. Louis Blues, battled back from a two-goal deficit in the final period on Ryan Berard’s first, but the Americans’ Alex Lavoie scored the game-winner with 1:35 left to propel Allen to a 6-4 win.
Chill Set For Three Games In Three Days
St. Charles, Mo. – The St. Charles Chill, a proud affiliate of the St. Louis Blues, are preparing for a tough stretch of hockey with three-straight games on the docket starting at 7:05 on Friday night at The Family Arena and concluding Sunday at 4:05 back in St. Charles.
Chill Loses Opener in Shootout
St. Charles, Mo. – The St. Charles Chill battled back from a 2-0 third period deficit to force overtime on a goal from Martin Hlinka at the 19:49 before falling in the shootout to the Missouri Mavericks 3-2.
St. Charles (0-0-1) fell behind late in the first period on an unassisted goal from Anders Franzon with a minute remaining in the period. Chill goalie Mathieu Corbeil made a series of great saves to end the first to keep the score close.
St. Charles Chill, St. Louis Blues Sign Affiliation Agreement
The St. Charles Chill has agreed to an affiliation with the National Hockey League’s St. Louis Blues. The Chill will join the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League as a source for prospect development for the Blues.

Chill Trims Roster; Adds Veterans
St. Charles Chill General Manager and Head Coach Jamie Rivers has trimmed seven players from his training camp roster and added a veteran front-line presence in preparation for the franchise opener on Saturday at 7:05. The roster now stands at 24 players.

The St. Charles Chill, in conjunction with the Missouri Mavericks, have announced the teams will be playing for the Show Me Cup, presented by Historic St. Charles. The Chill and Mavericks will play a total of eight games against each other this season and the team with the most points will win the Show Me Cup.
