Berard Scores Again but Chill Burned in Arizona
Rookie Ryan Berard got the Chill started right out of the gate with his third goal in the last two games but the Sundogs would rally in the first period before taking the lead in the second and despite a great third period effort St. Charles would lose game one of a weekend series 4-1.
Americans Come Back to Earn 6-4 Win
The Chill jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period and held a 4-2 lead midway through the second but the Allen Americans scored four-straight to pick up a comeback win by a final of 6-4 at the Family Arena on Sunday.

St. Charles tied the score at on a goal from Justin Levac in the first few minutes of the third period and Chill goalie Linus Lundin held the score at 3-3 until Brampton picked up a shootout win on the final shot of the night by a final of 4-3.
Depleted Roster Falls to Arizona
Playing without three players, and with several others battling a stomach virus that swept through the locker room after a community event earlier in the week, the Chill jumped out to a 1-0 lead minutes into the game but Arizona tied it at 1-1 late in the first and controlled the action the rest of the way to pick up a 7-1 win.
Josepher Scores 2nd; Rush Add Three Straight
Rookie Zach Josepher scored his second goal of the season and Charles LaChance notched the assist but Rapid City scored three unanswered goals, including two in the third to pull out a 5-1 win against the Chill.
O’Kane’s 20th Ties Game in 3rd; Cutthroats Win Late
Kyle O’Kane scored his 20th goal of the season to tie the score early in the third period as the Chill battled back from an early 2-0 deficit but Denver answered two minutes later to retake the lead and Garret Bembridge posted his third assist of the night in the final four minutes and the Cutthroats held on for a 4-2 win.
Lundin Solid but Chill Lose Defensive Battle
The Chill killed off seven Cutthroat power plays and goalie Linus Lundin stopped 38 shots but an even-strength goal from defenseman Sean Zimmerman late in the first period stood as the game-winner for Denver in the first of six-straight road games for St. Charles.
Late Major Penalty Dooms Chill
Ryan Berard gave the Chill a 4-3 lead on their second short-handed goal of the night midway through the third period but the Mallards tied it and took advantage of a kneeing penalty to take a 5-4 lead with 30 seconds left and added an empty netter for a 6-4 win at The Family Arena on Sunday.
