Kolaz and Stewart Selected in the 2013 NAHL Draft by Springfield Jr. Blues

Stewart recorded 3 goals and 13 assists last season. Prior to that he played for the St. Louis Amateur Blues. Lucas attended this year’s Pre Draft Camp and was a standout on the blue line.

Kolaz posted 17 goals and 20 assists in 40 games last season. He helped lead the Amatuer Blues to the Central District Championship. Kolaz attended this season’s Pre Draft Camp.

Alec Pellegrino Selected 6th Overall in 2013 NAHL Draft

In the first round, the Warriors picked sixth overall and took forward Alec Pellegrino. Pellegrino is a 1995 birth year, who spent his 2012-13 season with the St. Louis Amateur Blues U18 team of the MWEHL. Pellegrino had 34 points in 35 games including 112 minuets in penalties. The 6’0, 194 lbs. Pellegrino is a native of Swansea, IL.

Barber’s Hat Trick Leads Wild to West Division Finals

First Wenatchee Wild winger Jacob Barber (Dardenne Prairie, Mo.) helped assure that there would be a Game 5 in his team’s NAHL West Division semifinal series against the Fresno Monsters with a 2-goal effort Thursday in the fourth game of the series. Then he dominated Game 5 of the series Sunday with a hat trick that led the Wild to a 4-1 win over the Monsters and earned them a spot in the West Division finals.

Gorsuch Named NAHL North Division Combat Hockey Star of the Week

The Michigan Warriors are right back in the playoff hunt in the North Division and got a big boost this weekend thanks to a road sweep of the Springfield Jr. Blues.  Warriors goaltender Trevor Gorsuch, 18, started and won both games over the weekend as the native of St. Charles, Missouri, stopped 81 of a combined 83 shots in the two games and allowed just two goals all weekend, which included his second shutout of the season.
