The Corpus Christi IceRays of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) have acquired forward Brady Crabtree from the Amarillo Bulls in exchange for a 2016 2nd Round Pick. The deal is the second involving the IceRays this week prior to Saturday’s NAHL trade deadline.

McGlynn Named NAHL South Star of the Week
The Corpus Christi IceRays opened their season with a series in Topeka and ended up with a weekend road split. Forward Andy McGlynn, 18, scored in each of the games and had four shots on goal. On Friday, the native of St. Louis, MO, had the IceRays first goal in a 3-1 win.
St. Louis 18U forward Bratton signs NAHL tender
Bratton, 17, just finished competing in his first season in the NAPHL for the Selects. The native of Arnold, Missouri had a tremendous season, leading the 18U team in scoring this season with 29 points in 24 regular season games. Bratton also had four points in four NAPHL playoff games.

Ice Dogs defenseman Johnny Mueller dispensed three assists, with his last on Fairbanks teammate’s Yannick Vedel’s empty-net goal with 12 seconds left in the game.
St. Louis defenseman Brown gets call to the NAHL
St. Louis Jr. Blues and NA3HL defenseman Chris Brown has earned a weekend call-up to the NAHL from the Springfield Jr. Blues.
Brown is an 18-year-old defenseman that has been one of the Jr. Blues steadiest defenseman this season. He has notched 21 points in 37 games this season.
