Adam Roeder selected by the Sioux Falls Stampede in the 2013 USHL Entry Draft
In the 16th round (239th overall), the Herd chose defenseman Adam Roeder from Ballwin, MO. He spent this past season skating with the St. Louis Blues Minor Midget where he collected 42 points (12g, 30a) in 40 games. A 1996 birth date, Roeder stands at 5-foot-11, 165-pounds.
Omaha Lancers Tab 6 Players in 2013 USHL Draft
Finally, in Round 8 and with the 112th overall selection, the Lancers grabbed forward Cole Chatham, the younger brother of current Lancers forward Connor Chatham. A 6’0”, 180-pound native of Shiloh, Illinois, Chatham spent last season with the St. Louis AAA Blues where he was teammates with the recently tendered Henderson. In 38 games with the Blues this past year, Chatham registered 20 goals, 17 assists and 37 points to go along with 30 penalty minutes.

In the second round, 30th overall, Dubuque took blueliner Michael Davies from Kirkwood, Missouri. Davies is 5-foot-8 and 155 lbs. and played for the St. Louis Blues U16 team this past season. One of the top puck moving defensemen for his age, Davies scored six goals and added 24 assists for 30 points this past season in only 38 games.

Other additions in the draft include forwards Adam Marsh (CYA U16) and Troy Terry (Colorado Thunderbirds U16), goaltender Ben Blacker (Brampton 45’s) and Jacob Wilson (St. Louis Blues U16).

Lancers Tender Foward Jake Henderson for 2013-2014 Season
The Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) are pleased to announce they have tendered forward Jake Henderson for the 2013-2014 season. The St. Louis, Missouri native, who turned 16 in early February, spent this past season with the St. Louis AAA Blues and will join the Lancers next season.
NTDP Announces Eight Commitments for 2013-14 Season
Kunin comes from the St. Louis Blues Midget Minor program where he totaled 68 points (30-38) in 34 games during the 2012-13 season. He also tallied two goals and added four assists in five playoff games.
Opilka was most recently featured between the pipes for the St. Louis Blues Midget Minor program, where he posted a 18-2-1 (W-L-T) record. He recorded a 1.55 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage while earning four shutouts.
