General Manager Basil McRae announced today that the London Knights 4th round (64th overall) pick in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection, Matthew Tkachuk, has committed to and entered into an Ontario Hockey League Standard Player’s Agreement with the London Knights.
It’s big news, then, that Tkachuk officially committed to the OHL’s London Knights Friday. Not only can he shift the OHL’s power balance, but the decision was a bit of a shock considering how many ties Tkachuk had to the U.S. college system.
The London Knights began to build their team for the next Ontario Hockey League season, setting a pretty big building block in place.
The Knights announced American winger Matthew Tkachuk will play for them during 2015-16.

Bratton, 17, just finished competing in his first season in the NAPHL for the Selects. The native of Arnold, Missouri had a tremendous season, leading the 18U team in scoring this season with 29 points in 24 regular season games. Bratton also had four points in four NAPHL playoff games.
