Stastny leads US Men into IIHF Quarterfinals

Colorado Avalanche center Paul Stastny and the US Men’s Hockey Team are just getting warmed up at the 2012 International Ice Hockey Federation Men’s World Championship. Stastny logged a goal and two assists on Tuesday in Finland as the US Men dropped Switzerland 5-2 to close out preliminary play.

Defenceman Chris Butler (St. Louis, Mo./Calgary Flames/Univ. of Denver) has been added to the U.S. Men’s National Team roster for the 2012 IIHF Men’s World Championship it was announced today by USA Hockey. The tournament is scheduled for May 4-20, 2012, in Helsinki, Finland and Stockholm, Sweden.
