The Blues have traded goaltending prospect Ben Bishop to the Ottawa Senators today in exchange for a second-round draft pick in 2013.

The move ends weeks of speculation following the Blues’ decision to re-sign goaltender Brian Elliott to a two-year extension and entertain offers for Bishop, who was on target to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.
