Trent Frederic, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound forward, has signed a National Letter of Intent and is expected to join the Badgers for the 2016-17 season, said associate head coach Don Granato, who is directing the program while his brother is involved in the Stanley Cup playoffs with the Detroit Red Wings.
