One of the main reasons Cal Heeter signed with the Philadelphia Flyers this summer was what he perceived as an ability to quickly climb the organization’s ranks.

Put in the work, the former Ohio State goaltender figured, and the Flyers would provide him with the best chances of achieving his ultimate goal of playing in the National Hockey League.
