“I was lucky that it hit the visor first and took some of the heat off it,” Wideman said when asked how it’s possible the wayward shot didn’t bust his nose. “And I’m thankful there was no broken teeth. Don’t want that right before the holidays. Mom wouldn’t be too happy.”
