Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, June 24, that the team has selected defenseman Charlie McAvoy (14th overall) and forward Trent Frederic (29th overall) in the first round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft held at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York.
