After tallying the first natural hat trick in Big Ten Conference history on Saturday night, Sam Warning of the top-ranked Gopher hockey program has been named the league’s Second Star of the Week.
Warning became the first Gopher to record three consecutive goals since Jay Barriball accomplished the feat Oct. 9, 2010 in a 5-4 opening-weekend win over Massachusetts.
